Introducing our new collection: Wish You Were Here
We’re thrilled to introduce Wish You Were Here — a joyful, limited-edition collaboration with Tarporley-based artist Luke Crump, inspired by the carefree magic of summer holidays, garden picnics, and classic British staycations.
At Manava, we’ve long admired Luke’s distinctive, expressive work. His bold, character-filled doodles are mischievous, vibrant, and unmistakably his own — so when the chance came to bring his artwork into the world of sustainable fashion, we couldn’t resist.
Designed just a few miles from Manava HQ, this collection is close to home in more ways than one. Together, we’ve created a playful, wearable celebration of summer — with each piece carrying a piece of Luke’s creative energy.
Meet Luke Crump
Born in England, Luke’s love for art truly blossomed after moving to Belgium at a young age. His creative journey has taken him through the worlds of sign-making and graphic design, before he eventually stepped into life as a full-time independent artist — something he now describes as “loving every moment of.”
Luke's style is instantly recognisable: playful, character-driven, and full of movement. His works span everything from large-scale murals to album covers, skateboards, shoes, guitars — and now, this limited-run clothing and accessories line with Manava.
He works from a delightfully chaotic home studio, shared with a collection of rescue pets (including Nelly the dog), an army of houseplants, and a few adventurous cacti. When he’s not at his desk, you’ll likely find him creating live art at festivals, hosting fun-filled workshops, or exploring the outdoors — hiking, gardening, or running through the British countryside.
“I’ve always wanted to brighten the world with my creativity,” says Luke. “My dream is to bring joy to others and explore myself through my art.”
Creativity with Heart
Luke’s art is more than just visual — it’s deeply personal. He openly shares that living with OCD has shaped his creative process, becoming both a challenge and a source of inspiration. “OCD is a little gremlin that sits on my shoulder,” he says, “but it also fuels the structure and detail in my work. It’s part of my story — and it’s helped me connect more honestly with others.”
His playful pieces are populated by quirky characters, layered lines, and unexpected humour — but there’s always an emotional thread running through it all. It’s this mix of energy, emotion and authenticity that makes his work resonate so widely — with collectors in over 30 countries, and growing.
